Local celebs join Quinton van der Burgh to open a well in Limpopo

Cape Town - Pearl Thusi, Alex Caige, Maps Maponyane and Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters joined Quinton van der Burgh to open a water well in Limpopo on Tuesday.

The Quinton van der Bergh Foundation along with our local celebs gathered to open up a brand-new well in the community, which had not had a consistent flow of water. Their reliance on rain is not enough and the river they counted on for so long has run dry.

"Another incredible cause to support today. Honoured to be a part of this extraordinary act of kindness," Pearl wrote on Twitter.

Sharing a photo on her Instagram Stories Demi-Leigh wrote: "Generosity Water and Quinton Van der Bergh Foundation changed and simplified this community's life in such a big way today."

Through the sustainable programme Quinton is providing clean, safe drinking water to fellow South Africans. The goal is to supply water to South African and African communities one water well at a time.
