Local musician dies

Cape Town - Refiloe Motho, the winner of the second season of Coca-Cola Popstars, has died.

Refiloe was one of the five members of the Coca-Cola Popstars band, Adilah.

Adilah rose to fame with their track, Ses'Fikile, but later broke up. 

Band member Thembisile Ntaka wrote on Twitter, "R.I.P. Refiloe Motha till we meet again mngani wami. Ngohlala ngikuthanda njalo futhi angisoze ngakukhohlwa."

Thembisile told  The Daily Sun that she was really going to miss Refiloe since they were once close friends. 

"I know I've not seen her for some time and that is really sad for me. I once stayed with her and we got to know each other a bit more during that time. I will always cherish the time we shared together," she told the publication. 

The funeral service will take place on Thursday at 09:00 at the African Gospel Church in Mooki Street, next to Orlando Stadium in Orlando East, Soweto.
