Cape Town - Luthando 'Lootlove' Shosha has revealed the ugly side of showbiz.
During a chat on The Sobering podcast with Lee Kasumba, and Ayanda MV, Lootlove revealed how she once lost out on a R250K brand deal because she was pregnant at the time.
"I lost a 250k cheque because I was pregnant. That was cold," she said.
She explained that after revealing to the brand, which she doesn’t mention, that she was expecting they seemed appreciative of her honesty. They told her they will get back to her in about two days but never did.
"They said nothing and didn’t get back to me," she said.
Even though she felt it was a bit unfair she was fine because she assured herself that in future it will multiple.
"That was a wake-up call. It didn’t matter at the time because my health mattered. I took 2 seconds because you know what, I told myself that God is gonna give me quadrable. It’s fine," she said.
Life on its own isn’t easy and being a new mom is tough. The mother-of-two has been quite frank about the struggles of being a new mom.
"Listen! Twin Mommying and Daddying is tough and shame my babies (@hiploveshop) were not having it via noise and energy on their first trip “out”! Parenting may look cool aesthetically but YHU! What a MOVIE!" she wrote in an Instagram post recently.
