Cape Town – In the wake of kwaito star Mandoza's recent passing, his son Tokollo has opened up about the wise words his father once told him.
In a video interview with the SABC, the young man said: ‘I think I'm just happy that my dad died a proud man because he had everything he wanted in life. Every time he'd tell me that he never got a chance to spend time with his dad, so all he ever wanted was to raise his children.’
Tokollo also a shared memory of something his late father wanted to impart to him: ‘So when I'm gone one day, I need you to be strong.'
