Mandoza's widow Mpho Tshabalala to launch The Mandoza Foundation

Johannesburg – To commemorate the anniversary of his death, Mandoza’s widow Mpho Tshabalala, along with Cansa will be launching The Mandoza Foundation. 

A press statement explains: “In commemoration of his death we are launching “The Mandoza Foundation” (a non profit organisation) which is spearheaded by Mandoza’s widow Mpho Tshabalala. We will be launching the foundation on September 18th 2017 together with Cansa at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital (old Johannesburg General Hospital) at the oncology ward (Area 348 Radiation oncology Department) where Mandoza was treated prior to his death.” 

The vision of the foundation will be to help less fortunate cancer suferers and to encourage early detection testing for people living in townships.
