Cape Town - TV presenter Maps Maponyane recently announced the lucky recipient of the 2018 Maps Maponyane bursary.

The Soweto-born star revealed earlier this year that he’d be awarding a deserving student with a bursary, to the value of R75 000, that covers their full tuition for one year – in collaboration with Pearson Institute of Higher Education

Now a student, Molinah Nkomo, will be able to complete her studies. ”One day when my time is up in this complex and beautiful thing we call life, it's moments like these that will forever feature in my highlights reel, ” Maps captioned a snap of himself and a beaming Molinah.

“Yesterday I got to meet the 2018 recipient of the 'Maps Maponyane Bursary' with Pearson Institute, Molinah Nkomo, studying a BSC Biomedicine. The rest of her tuition and additional needs will now be fully taken care of."
