MC Hammer gives Cassper Nyovest kudos

Cape Town - Hip-hop artist MC Hammer is really feeling local rapper Cassper Nyovest’s latest album Thuto and sent the fellow musician a message to let him know.

ICYMI: Cassper released his third album a few weeks ago and it sailed straight to the top of the charts. 

MC Hammer – who has spent a lot of time in SA and even had an ad campaign with a local beer maker – said to Cassper in a tweet on Thursday: "My Brother. Great Album. Complete .. You spoke from the streets to the Heavens. Joy, Pain, Wins and loses. I dig it. Salute (sic)."

The Can’t Touch This hitmaker's tweet was in response to one from Nyovest who thanked the American artist for sharing a link to one of his songs.
