Minnie Dlamini's brother Khosini 'currently undergoing treatment in ICU'

Cape Town - The Dlamini family has released an official statement following reports that Minnie's brother, Khosini, had suffered a severe health setback.

According to Briefly, a source close to the family said that Khosini suffered an aneurysm, but the Dlamini family is yet to confirm the nature of the 29-year-old's illness.

According to Health24 an aneurysm is an abnormal widening or ballooning in a blood vessel. It's usually caused by weakness in the wall of that blood vessel.

Speaking to Channel24, the family addressed rumours that Khosini had died, saying: "We can confirm that Khosini has been admitted to hospital and is currently undergoing treatment in ICU."

Khosini's parents Janulani and Queen requested privacy during the traumatic time, adding that they would not be addressing any questions from the media on the matter.
