The station is moving the team tp the afternoon drivetime slot where Mo Flava was at the helm. However, new voices will be in the driving seat instead of Relebogile Mabotja.

Kings Of The Weekend (KOTW), Siphesihle 'Sphectacula' Ngwenya and Lebogang 'DJ Naves' Naves, who make their come back to Metro FM will be the main hosts. The show will be called The Kings Suite.

Relebogile who has been getting bad reviews from listeners is not left in the cold. She will be part of the show as a news reader and Angie Khumalo will be on sports duty.

The SABC says these changes will not affect the rest of the day time line up, which still sees all other shows remain the same.

"We are convinced that we’ve found the perfect balance of on-air talent to carry on with the strategy of the station and ensure that we deliver to our commitment, of keeping our listeners informed and entertained, plus servicing the needs of our commercial spenders."

"Our intention is to carry on delivering top quality content, the coolest way we know how and these newly introduced shows are a part of the station’s strategy to refresh its lineup through repositioning and strengthening its talent pool to ensure it still remains number one in the game," said Metro FM Station Manager, Sibongile Mtyali.
