Mo Flava responds to question on why he did not defend Masechaba after Babes interview backlash

Johannesburg – Radio presenter Mo Flava on Thursday opened up his Twitter account to questions from fans allowing them to ask him anything interesting.

One fan immediately took this opportunity to ask the presenter about the controversial Babes Wodumo interview which happened on the Metro FM Drive show hosted by Mo and Masechaba Ndlovu at the time

In the interview Masechaba alleged that Mampintsha had been physically abusing Babes, saying that a mutual friend had made her aware of this situation.

Talk around the interview had surfaced once again on Thursday after Masechaba sat down with Pearl Thusi on MTV's Behind the Story, speaking openly about what went down and the backlash she received from the public thereafter.

"Why didn't you stand up for Masechaba?" the question from the tweep to Mo simply read.

Asking for more clarification from the fan, Mo Flava wrote: "With regards to?"

To which the tweep responded: "When she got flack for how she handled the Babes interview. According to her, you gave her a signal to go ahead and ask the questions… only she got called out. You didn't say anything in her defense, why not? [sic]"

But Mo denied giving Masechaba any signals. "How is that possible? This signal thing. The interview was almost done by the time she asked that question and made those statements. I don't control her mind. So why would she need permission from me to ask a question? She got called out because those were her words not mine."
