The celebrity autobiography culture is gripping Mzansi and while at Somizi's book launch a while back we asked some of the celebs who attended the launch to tell us the title they’d pick for a book about their lives.

Media Personality Maps Maponyane:

“Cartography. ‘Carto’ means maps, like my name, and ‘graphy’ means to write.”

Media Mogul Basetsana Kumalo:

“Her Truth. I stand in the light of my own truth every day. I celebrate life and hope I inspire a new generation.”

Actress Lorcia Cooper:

“North of Normal.  A lot of my life is  lived north of normal. What’s normal anyway?”

Television, radio personality and singer Unathi Msengana

“I have a book coming out later this year. It’s called A Better You and it’s about getting the best body you can.”

Actress  Nambitha Mpumlwana

“I Got Up! I just love the story of having to go through fire to be refined. Falling is part of life; rising is part  of growing up.”

Entreprenuer Johanna Mukoki

“From Soweto to the Suburbs – that’s my story.”

Rapper Cassper Nyovest

“Hood Billionaire. It’ll  be an inspirational book because my purpose is to inspire people who feel like their dreams are too big for them.”

“The Life and Times of Brian Temba. I have so much to say and so many interesting things to talk about.”
