Nádine back at work after operation on her hand

Cape Town - Afrikaans singer Nádine won't let anything hold her back, and returned to work "immediately" after an operation on her right finger.

"Wasn't going to post this. No self pity. Okay, maybe a little. But when you cut your finger and needed an op on mother's day," Nádine wrote on Twitter, sharing a photo of her hand taken from a hospital bed.

A source close to the singer confirmed the accident to The Juice, saying: "Yes, she was in the hospital. She cut her finger with glass, and had an operation on her right finger."

According to the source, who wanted to remain anonymous, Nádine was in the hospital for two days, and "started work immediately" after being discharged.
