Nandi Madida to host Afropunk Joburg

Cape Town – South African presenter Nandi Madida will be the host of the first ever Afropunk festival in Africa.

The festival will take place at the end of this year on Saturday, 30 December and Sunday, 31 December. It will be bringing Solange Knowles, Laura Mvula, Anderson .Paak and a slew of other acts as headliners.

ICYMI: Nandi hosted the Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn in August. 

The star reposted the news on her Instagram on Monday evening and then posted about the hosting duties again on Tuesday morning saying: “What a way to ring in the new year! I'll be hosting the first-ever edition of #AFROPUNKFEST in Africa on 30&31 December 2017 . AFRICA let's show the world how we Celebrate! Thank you @Afropunk for choosing an unapologetically proud African Lady to be your host and make history. (sic)”
