Johannesburg – After being dismissed from his position as the Afternoon Drive host on Good Hope FM, Nigel Pierce has now announced that he will be starting his own podcast.
The presenter, who had everyone talking in March when he addressed issues he was having with Good Hope through videos on social media, posted a clip on his Facebook account on Monday in which he made the announcement about his podcast.
"I'm allergic to boring. So this is going to be uncensored, unfiltered and free from the tyranny of mainstream and corporate radio," the star said about his new venture.
He added that listeners will get to see the real Nigel Pierce - a side of himself that he has always wanted to show, but was unable to due to "restrictions."
According to Nigel, the podcast will tackle a wide range of topics which includes politics, business, economics, community issues and entertainment.
