Nomzamo Mbatha to give TED Talk at refugee camp

Johannesburg – Local TV personality Nomzamo Mbatha announced on Thursday that she will be a part of the first TED Talk event to take place at a refugee camp.  

The star, who recently visited refugee camps in Kenya, will be a speaker at the function which will take place at the Kakuma refugee camp on 9 June. 

“Incredibly honored to have been chosen as one of the speakers at the FIRST EVER @TEDTalks to take place at a Refugee Camp. #TEDxKakumaCamp This is a Global first and so my heart beams with excitement and gratitude (sic),” she wrote.
