Ouch! 4 famous local celeb slaps

Cape Town - ICYMI: A video of DJ Black Coffee slapping AKA's road manager, Tshiamo Letshwene, during DSTV's I Rock Music Festival went viral on Sunday. Watch the video here.

AKA confirmed the alleged slapping on Twitter, saying, "Please explain to me what part of Black Coffee smacking my road manager is ok?" You can read the full tweet spree here

But this isn't the first time celebrities have gotten physical. We've made a list of the four most epic celebrity slaps.

1. Kelly Khumlo vs Khanyi Mbau

TV personalities Khanyi Mbau and Kelly Khulo were reportedly involved in a physical fight at a hair salon in Rivonia. Kelly came out on top by getting in the last blow. Not sure what the reason for the brawl was!

Kelly went on to publicly apologise for slapping Khanyi on Khanyi's talk show, Katch it With Khanyi

2. Cassper Nyovest vs AKA

Last year, Cassper Nyovest claimed that AKA walked up to him and slapped him at a club.

"So @akaworldwide comes up to my table in a club and slaps me. You'll probably deny this like you always do but its fine. Just want you to know this. You can slap me all you want my brother but you can never take my joy. God bless you and I love you, (sic)" he wrote on Instagram.

After fiercely denying claims of the physical assault, AKA eventually came clean on Twitter, but then later deleted the tweet after his management advised him to do so.

3. Dineo Ranaka

Maybe not a slap in the traditional sense. But earlier this year it was reported that TV and radio personality, Dineo Ranaka, was allegedly accused of beating a woman in an upmarket restaurant in Johannesburg.

A source claimed that Dineo allegedly hit a 22-year-old woman with a champagne bottle on her head.

4. Boity Thulo and Samkelo Ndlovu

According to Move Magazine an argument between Boity Thulo and Samkelo Ndlovu quickly escalated to a catfight at an e.tv Kasi Tour. A source told the magazine that most people were playing music from their phones at the after party and Boity repeatedly played Cassper Nyovest's songs.

This annoyed Samkelo, who responded by playing AKA's Composure. And that made Boity angry. The argument then led to physical altercation between the TV personalities, and someone got slapped!

Samkelo later cleared the air, by saying the issue was resolved quickly and the two are "chilled now."
