Johannesburg – As tributes keep pouring in for struggle Veteran Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, TV personality Pearl Thusi has taken the time to pen a touching letter to the late icon.
“Finally managed to express a portion of my love for our Mother. RIP Mama. This is my prayer,” Pearl captioned her post on Twitter.
“I was in tears when I found out. In sheer disbelief. And all through this period, I’ve been meditating on all that is you. Beauty. Love. Power. Resistence. Passion. Pain. Strength. Hope. Kindness. Wisdom. And so much more,” the actress’ message to Winnie reads in part.
Later on in the note, Pearl goes on to say: “I am so proud to be one of your daughters. I hope that as I accomplish what is necessary for me to be called home too, that you embrace me with my biological mother… and say you’re proud.”
