PIC: Kwesta’s SAMA wins bring his family together

Cape Town - South African rapper Kwesta’s award-winning ways have brought his parents closer than he has seen them in 18 years.

ICYMI: Kwesta won six Sama awards a few weeks ago at a lavish ceremony in Sun City.

The star kept his winning streak going last week and was given platinum certificates not only for his album DaKAR II but for his single with Cassper Nyovest 'Ngud which went quintuple platinum. 

The artist referred to his achievements reuniting his parents in a post on his Instagram with the caption: “These are my parents... They got divorced when I was 8 years old and about a week or so ago... You got them closer than I've seen them in at least 18 years.. This was taken at a braai mam'Thabsile threw in celebration of the ???????????? ... I love you. Whoever took this to heart.. I f'n love you.. Yup. That's all.??”
