Cape Town - South African soprano Pretty Yende is currently in New York and has met one of the stars of the classic film, Sarafina, Whoopi Goldberg.
Pretty is currently singing as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at The Metropolitan Opera.
Here's what the amazing performer had to say about meeting the Hollywood legend in the caption underneath the picture of the pair meeting, "So yeah, I got to hang out with this awesome Lady, Whoopi Goldberg . I remember watching 'Sarafina ' the movie and seeing her singing 'Our Father who art in heaven' ...I am so glad I finally got to meet her and I look forward to the future plans with her (sic)."
