Cape Town - Sophie Ndaba has finally let the cat out of the bag and introduced the world to the "the love of her life" business man, Max Lichaba.
After months of keeping her marriage under wraps, Sophie Ndaba and her husband Max, recently appeared on Top Billing and shared their amazing love story.
“His brothers are my close friends that is how we met as a starting point,” Sophie told Top Billing presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee.
She added that she didn’t believe that her now husband was single until his family convinced her that she is free to pursue him.
“I tried to ask her out but she refused…” Max admitted.
“I tried to convince her that I am a single man, but she couldn’t believe that.”
But as fate would have it, the love birds ended up together.
“He proposed to me maybe three or four times and now we are married,” Sophie told Top Billing exclusively.
Following the interview, Max shared a picture of him and his wife at what appeared to be their traditional wedding ceremony.
He posted the picture on his Instagram page and captioned it, “Team Lichaba”.
