Cape Town - Local TV personality Zuraida Jardine has graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with a psychology degree.
The former life's a Journey host has been studying towards her degree for four years. "About four years ago, I woke one morning and decided that the time had come for my life to expand. For another reinvestment in myself. Life can be short, but life can also be long, I thought.
"I knew that if I was blessed with a long life I needed to make sure that the tapestry of my time continued to be enriched with growth, purposeful guidance and stories that never stopped. I've always had a keen interest in beautiful beings and what makes us uniquely ourselves," she adds.
Even though she is still a couple of years away from writing her final board exam, she is celebrating the momentous milestone. She says: "I reminded myself today to enjoy the journey, cause that's all I'm guaranteed of right now. The destination will take care of itself."
Zuraida went on to thank everyone for supporting her throughout this journey, including her children who are "already speaking in Wits jargon."
