PICS: Adè van Heerden's safari baecation

Johannesburg – Former Miss South Africa Adè van Heerden and boyfriend Alex Forsyth-Thompson took some time to indulge in the beautiful sights of the African bushveld.

The beauty queen posted a couple of pics from her safari baecation on Instagram, including some adorable selfies with her man.

The pair also had an incredible up-close encounter with a lion.

"The moment right after a lion walked up next to Alex on the vehicle and looked right at him!" Adè captioned a pic of Alex with a stunned look on his face.

Spent mornings in the bushveld admiring God’s creation with my best friend @alexforsy ????? ? On our way back our car broke down. Absolutely no power. No signal. Nowhere to go. We walked off to find signal and organized a towing service, waited a couple of hours and we are finally in the tow truck with my car safely strapped to the low bed. ? ? Through it all Alex and I laughed (although I cried a little), prayed and counted every blessing we have.
