PICS: Andries Ferreira celebrates daughter's second birthday with rugby family

Cape Town - Lion's rugby player Andries Ferreira and his wife, Inette, celebrated their daughter's second birthday with their rugby family.

Little Miané Ferreira officially turns two on 11 June, but celebrated her birthday with friends and family on Sunday.

"We decided to go with a fun "farmyard" theme, which tied in beautifully with the venue, Lapatio in Pretoria, as they had a farmyard, and the kids got to enjoy pony rides and go view the farm animals," said Andries.

He adds: "Mianés favourite colour is pink, so the farmyard theme had to include a lot of pink elements, as well as her favourite farm animals. It was perfect for a little girl, thanks to the help of the team at Organizit!"

The guest list included rugby players Elton Jantjies, Franco Mostert and Ruan Dreyer, who all enjoyed the day with their children.

According to Andries, "Miané is a very happy child, always smiling, and always a busy-bee."

Speaking about the day, he says: "Her day was filled with lots of activity be it her face-painting, pony rides and playing in the kiddies play area. She definitely loved the decor, which showcased a lot of animals and pink balloons. Her favourite element was her 'Bake My Day' farmyard themed cake."
