PICS: Basetsana Kumalo is all smiles in Louis Vuitton at Sandton book signing

Cape Town - TV personality Basetsana Kumalo looked radiant at the public book signing of her memoir Bassie: My Journey of Hope in Sandton on Saturday.

The signing took place at the Sandton City's Diamond Walk.

Speaking to Channel24, Basetsana said that she always knew she would publish a book about her life experiences and for years kept a journal and, captured her thoughts on a dictaphone.

My Journey of Hope, a reflection of her journey and overcoming several challenges, has received high praise from her peers, including Zelda La Grange and Graca Machel.

About the writing process she said that she wrote the chapters all over the country, including her home office and bush. When she wrote lighter chapters, and felt like she needed to "cleanse" herself she traveled the Mauritius.

The owner of Tswelopele Productions, which produce Top Billing, had the opportunity to engage with her fans, and sign their copies of her autobiography.

Affectionately known as Bassie, the first-time author looked radiant in a form-fitting asymmetric green dress, which she paired with a Louis Vuitton belt.

Penguin Random House could not confirm if more signings would took place in different cities.
