PICS: Candice Swanepoel slays at the MET Gala with Behati Prinsloo

Cape Town - Local model Candice Swanepoel walked the MET Gala red carpet with Sophia Richie, Namibian-born model Behati Prinsloo, Sistine Stallone and Joan Smalls. 

You might remember Joan Smalls from Beyoncé's Yoncé music video.

The 69th annual MET Gala was themed Rei Kawakubo/Commes des Garcons and took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Stars took the red carpet, which was actually blue this year, in dramatic ensembles and you can scroll though all the celeb looks here. 

The local model looked effortlessly chic with dramatic eye make-up, a high ponytail and black ballgown.
