Johannesburg – SA designer David Tlale has brought New York traffic to a halt.
The star took to the streets of the Big Apple to unveil his Azania Spring/Summer collection. The show saw David use two iconic New York backdrops, Time Square and The High Line, to express his narrative.
“I always enjoy presenting the unexpected and I couldn’t think of a better place than the streets of NYC to show my new collection which is, after all, inspired by this city and its hustle and fast-forward bustle,” the designer said in a press statement.
David’s showcase formed part of a four day trip to New York orchestrated by Courvoisier which also included Bonang and Anatii.
While in the popular city the trio got to attend New York Fashion Week, take a helicopter ride over Manhattan and visit the Met Museum.
