PICS: Demi-Leigh attends Nelson Mandela statue unveiling at United Nations

Johannesburg – Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters continues to wave the SA flag high – literally this time as she attended the unveiling of a Nelson Mandela statue at the UN on Monday.

The Nelson Mandela Peace Summit took place at the United Nations in New York on Monday, with a few South Africans stars in attendance, including Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green and TV personality Gerry Elsdon.

Of course, the beautiful Demi-Leigh was also at the event where a statue of Nelson Mandela was revealed.

“Yesterday, #MissUniverse @demileighnp had the honor to attend the unveiling of a statue of Nelson Mandela, a gift from South Africa to the @unitednations,” a post on the Miss Universe Instagram page reads.
