Cape Town - Reigning Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters visited three cities in Ecuador to attend several charitable events hosted by the Miss Ecuador Organisation.
According to Angelopedia, Demi-Leigh's first stop was at the Guayas Red Cross, where she met with people affected by natural disasters.
The 22-year-old South African beauty then participated in a parade of floats. She was joined by Miss Ecuador International 2018 and Miss Grand International Ecuador 2018.

The article goes on to say that the mayor of Machala, Carlos Falquez Aguilar, hosted a lunch for the beauty queen. She was also a guest of honour at the charity parade that took place in the Juan Montalvo Central Park of the Bananera Capital.

On Tuesday Demi-Leigh visited Santo Domingo de Los Tsáchilas where she met with the community of the 'Colorados' and was crowned the honorary queen of the Tsáchilas.
Demi-Leigh wrote on Instagram: "Thank you Tsáchilas community for opening up your home and teaching me your ways."
