PICS: Former Miss SA Kerishnie Naiker shares cute mom-and-daughter red carpet snap

Cape Town - Miss South Africa 1997, Kerishnie Naiker, brought her mom to the Miss South Africa 2018 pageant, and they looked flawless.

The former beauty queen walked the red carpet with a mother by her side, and wrote on Instagram that she "could not have wished for a better partner."

She wrote: "I'm deeply grateful to have been able to walk the red carpet with my mum at Miss South Africa. I could not have wished for a better partner especially considering Miss South Africa being a dream I shared with both my parents."

Sharing a photo from her crowning ceremony in 1997, she added: "When I recall the crowning ceremony 21 years ago, the overflow of tears had everything to do with remembering my dad who died three years prior."

Kerishnie witnessed Tamaryn Green being crowned Miss South Africa 2018, at the 60th anniversary ceremony of the pageant on Sunday.
