Johannesburg – Local designer Gert-Johan Coetzee had the opportunity to dress none other than Beyoncé’s father Dr. Mathew Knowles when he visited South Africa this past week.
Sharing pictures on his Instagram account with Mathew Knowles and his wife Gena, Gert wrote: “What an absolute honor and privilege spending time with this incredible couple, Dr Mathew Knowles @mrmathewknowles and his lovely wife, Gena – BOTH DRESSED in exquisite Gert-Johan Coetzee Couture. [sic]”
While Gert dressed Mathew for his appearance as a guest judge on Idols SA on Sunday, the designer also had the opportunity to dress both Mathew an Gena for the African Leaders 4 Change Awards.
Gena stunned in a gorgeous red gown by the designer, and Mathew was pictured in both a moss green suit and a two-tone blue suit.
