PICS: Jo-Ann Strauss trades in sunny Cape Town summer for skiing on the slopes

Cape Town - Former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss and her family are trading in the beach for the snow, and holidaying in the French Alps.

Situated at the family-friendly Arcs 1600 ski resort, the resort forms part of one of the biggest ski areas in the world.

Taking to Instagram, Jo-Ann wrote: "Beyond blown away by the natural beauty of the surroundings here in the French Alps. What a privilege to be able to experience this with my entire family."

The TV personality shared photos on her Instagram enjoying time out skiing on the slopes, as well as the heated indoor and outdoor pools.

"Ski, jacuzzi, family time... repeat," she captioned a photo of herself getting out of cold pool, wearing a swimsuit!
