Cape Town - Media personality K Naomi has taken some time off, after receiving a backlash for an off colour "bipolar" comment she made on Twitter recently.
The 27-year-old later apologised when she realised that people found her comment offensive.
"I'm so sorry to everyone I have offended with my tone-deaf tweet on bipolar and persons affected by the illness. My comment was not meant to offend, but rather to vent about people I found to be moody and inconsistent towards me," she told Channel24.

Now that it's all behind her, she is on a solo vacation in Greece. While back here at home we’re experiencing dropping temperatures, K Naomi is enjoying every minute of the Mediterranean summer sun.
"So when I get to a town/city, the first thing I do is get to know the space around me....by just walking around and stopping somewhere to eat. This is how my Greece trip began...in Athens," she posted on her Instagram.
