Cape Town - Afrikaans singer Karlien van Jaarsveld reportedly got married in a secret ceremony.
Karlien shared the news on social media with a photo of her special day.
"Today I can tell you with abundance and gratitude - Never give up on love," she wrote on Instagram.
Messages of congratulations flooded social media, with fans thinking that the wedding took place over the weekend.
According to Huisgenoot, Karlien replied to her fans saying that she is already married and that she was working over the weekend.
The Afrikaans singer and her new husband, Joe Breytenbach, announced their engagement in September, 2016.
Following the announcement on social media Karlien's mother and former manager Ronel Brink wrote on Twitter: "Love is beautiful. Karlien and Joe."
