PICS: Melinda Bam and Adriaan Bergh’s snowy getaway

Cape Town - Melinda Bam and Adriaan Bergh are enjoying a romantic vacay in The French Alps.

The couple – who were married in 2014 – are revelling in the chilly weather, spending hours and hours on the slopes and snapping selfies in-between.

Melinda – who was crowned Miss South Africa in 2011 – said in one post: “Amazing how peaceful these peaks can be...until they’re not and your hands have been out of your gloves or pockets a second too long…(sic)”

Feeling like a north-pole elf! What an incredible day to end off 2017!!!. . 6Hours on the slopes gave us some time to reflect quite a bit... . A day on these white glistening peaks summarized this year so appropriately:. Fun, filled with adventure, fast paced, breathtaking, sometimes slightly scary how quick it flew by. Sometimes we fell, but we always got back up again, @adriaanbergh by my side cheering me on, and me always admiring him at how effortlessly he excels at everything. Blessed to be able to do what we do, protected by the blood of the Lamb even in the face of fear, many highs - almost too many, many slippery moments where we feel like its almost out of control!. Moments where we could just stand in awe of how Great our God is, how Majestic is Creation is, how awe inspiring His power is, how comforting His peace is, and how ever small or insignificant we might look to the mountains or people around us, He knows us by name and has called us for a grand purpose!. . I pray Deuteronomy 28:2-13 over our year - blessed are we when we come in, blessed when we go out! May we be clothed in His love, grace and favor, and always find our greatest strength leaning into HIM!. .
