Johannesburg – South Africa took over Hollywood when
Heavy-K, Anatii, Da Les, LootLove and Ayanada Thabethe attended an exclusive
party with guest host Common at the Absolut Elyx House on Saturday.
Speaking about event, award-winning US rapper Common said in
a press statement: “It was a blessing for me to go to South Africa last year
and I am excited that African culture is finally becoming part of the global
cultural narrative. We have to keep building that cultural bridge.”
Set in the Hollywood hills overlooking the city, Heavy K, Da
Les and Anatii performed to a celebrity audience. Guests included movie star
Stephen James, music producer Karl Rubin, and Black Panther star Sope Aluko.
