Cape Town - Local actress and business woman Sonia Mbele is channeling her inner child while on holiday in Dubai.
The local star recently shared that she is taking time off, on her Instagram page – and for her taking time off means an exciting getaway to one of the top holiday destinations in the world: Dubai.
"So, life throws things at you right...? Even in the midst of it all, stand tall! I’m off for a couple of days...catch you on the flip side darlings!!! #staysunny," she wrote.
The businesswoman shared pics of herself with Shrek, riding bumper cars, visiting theme parks and amusement parks.

She is also the executive producer behind the hit reality TV series The Real Housewives of Johannesburg.
Recently she hosted her female crew members and DRUM at her stunning home to celebrate the success of the show.
She shared with the attendees that the idea of the show was born 5 years ago, and it has been a challenge to get it where it is now.
Furthermore, she spoke about how she survived her severe depression and managed to raise three children.
"I tried therapy, but it didn’t work. Things got so bad I would even google ways of committing suicide and going out quickly and pain-free because I’d had enough of my life," she said.
It might have taken her long five years to be where she is now but the star is happy and celebrates her strength.
"I’m happy all my hard work and endurance didn’t go to waste."
