Johannesburg – Our local stars were dressed to the nines in support of Terry Pheto on Saturday. The actress was the guest of honour at a high tea hosted by Luminance in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
At the event, Terry spoke fondly of her achievements, and her family. “I’ve always shared my story with the world, you know, from humble beginnings, and that has actually helped me to grow character,” she told the crowd.
The star, who was part of the Oscar-winning cast of Tsotsi in 2005, also mentioned that she would love to have an Oscar of her own one day.
Taking home another award on the day, Terry was the proud recipient of the Luminance Star Award for 2017.
Local celebs including LeAnne Dlamini, Lerato Kganyago, and Vanessa Carrera were there in support of Terry.
