The main cast members might have left the sewing workshop, but they haven't left our TV screens. That's for sure!

1. Patsy (June van Merch)
The South African actress will probably forever be remembered as the sassy shop floor steward, Patsy at Fishy Fêshuns.
13 years later and June is still at the top of her game. She recently landed starring roles in the kykNet series Boekklub and Sara se Geheim.

2. David Isaacs (Dino)
For the role as Dino in Fishy Fêshuns, David received an Avanti nomination for best supporting actor in a comedy. In 2001 he won the Avanti Award for Best Actor in a TV role and in 2002 he received an FNB Vita theatre nomination for Best Comedy Actor.
In 2000 he teamed up with Oscar Petersen and Heinrich Reisenhofer to create Joe Barber. His stage success with Meet Joe Barber, Joe Barber and Boeta Gamat Too, Joe Barber 4 The People and Joe Barber 5 School Cuts have put him firmly on the map as one of Cape Town's leading writing and performing talents.
David is also co-directer of kykNet's Sara se Geheim.

3. Lee-Ann van Rooi (Rochelle)
Who can forget ditzy Rochelle?
She received an Avante Award in 2000 for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Sitcom for Fishy Fêshuns.
In 2015 she had a starring role in the kykNET drama series Die Boekklub. She has gone on to star in the highly praised Noem my Skollie and Tess. And also has a role on Sara se Geheim as Maggie Cloete.
Here she is now, just as beautiful as ever.
4. Ilse Oppelt (Katrien)
Ilse starred as Katrien in the 1999 comedy that ran until 2004.
Recently working behind-the-scenes, Ilse was one of the writers on Sara se Geheim. She also starred in the Afrikaans movie, Verskietende Ster.

5. Marie Pentz (Vera)
Marie starred as Vera in the local sitcom.
And the local actress hasn't stopped appearing on our TV screens ever since, with roles in Erfsondes and Ballade vir 'n Enkeling.
