Johannesburg – One year after summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, TV personality Unathi Msengana recalled what the difficult journey was like, sharing images and videos on her Instagram account.

The posts included pictures, as well as videos of the emotional star showing fans what the view from the top of the highest peak in Africa looks like.

In the caption Unathi also mentioned that the man who led their expedition had sadly since died.

"A year ago TODAY I summited Mt Kilimanjaro. The man who lead our 75 man group HONEST is no longer with us but is at his resting place with uGugu. Guru whom he carried down the very same mountain the year prior. Today his empire is run by his incredible wife in his honour. I summited this enormous mountain despite everything I was going through THEN, [sic]" she wrote.
