Power actress Anika Noni Rose heading for SA shores

Cape Town - Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose will be attending the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo 2018.

South Africa's elite and crème de la crème attending the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo 2018 at the Val de Vie Estate on Saturday, will be joined by Tony Award winning actress, Anika Noni Rose.

Known for iconic roles such as voicing Princess Tiana in Disney's The Princess & The Frog, and playing Lorell Robinson in Dreamgirls alongside Jennifer Hudson and Beyoncé, Anika currently can be seen on screens in BET's The Quad playing the role of Dr Eva Fletcher.

Anika is also known for her work on stage including her 2004 Tony award for best performance by a featured actress in a musical as Emmie Thibodeaux in Caroline or Change and her Tony nominated role in A Raisin in the Sun alongside Denzel Washington.

Anika is familiar with the continent having spent months here in 2009 in Botswana, shooting the award winning mini-series, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, alongside Jill Scott, Idris Elba, Desmond Dube, David Oyelowo, and John Kani.

Anika will join other guests of the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo, an event celebrated as one of the best polo events in the world and one of the most sought-after social tickets of the South African social calendar. 

Already VIP and Clicquot Garden tickets are sold out, with only a few of the new Clicquot Picnic ticket offering available.
