Cape Town - Raunchy entertainer, Nonhlanhla “Skolopad” Qwabe, has decided nudity is so 2017.

“Yes I am leaving it in this year. Some people who have just emerged are just exaggerating it. They even show their private parts in public. That’s not good, really it’s not fine. Private parts are not for the public eye,” Skolopad tells Drum.

The controversial entertainer posted snaps of herself – in the buff – meditating on whether or not to leave the nudity in 2017, saying that she needed “something stronger”.

But Skolopad, who’s known for her nearly-naked looks, says she’ll still be “sexy”. “I have a surprise for my fans in 2018, but no more lepona.” Her decision comes after rival Zodwa Wabantu revealed that she’ll be retiring in 2019 if she makes enough money.

Skolopad lost out to Zodwa at this year’s Feather Awards, where she appeared in her infamous boerewors dress.

After failing to win the gong for drama queen of the year she was quoted in the media saying, "No, no, no being nominated was enough for me. It was a big deal and achievement for me. Her [Zodwa] winning the award didn't really bother me, I know she has a big support base”.
