Riky Rick, Sketchy Bongo and Fifi Cooper bring the heat on Coke Studio

Johannesburg – After months of anticipation, the new season of Coke Studio finally hit our screens on Saturday 27 August.

The jam-packed first episode saw rapper Riky Rick team up with talented producer Sketchy Bongo and newbie Scales.

Scales, a young musically gifted RAW artist from Middelburg, was pleasantly surprised to be working under the mentorship of King Kotini himself.

While there were a few bumps in the road, with Riky missing his flight back from Mauritius and upon return struggling to get Scales out of his shell, the dynamic trio managed to turn things around in the end, producing smash hit, Sunday

The episode also features award-winning rapper Fifi Cooper who teamed up with singer/songwriter Ryki on her first ever female collaboration.

Though from two different ends of the musical spectrum, Fifi and Ryki were able to join forces and create ultra-mod pop love song, Stop, with the help of resident producer Wilson.

Coke Studio Season 2 airs Saturdays at 18:05 on e.tv.
