Former Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss shared concerns about her brother as well as his wife who live in China, fearing for their health and safety amid the Coronavirus pandemic which has killed over 2000 people to date.

In a post on Instagram, the beauty queen asked followers to pray for her brother and sister-in-law who are currently "stuck in their city".

"My heart is aching today. I would like to ask all of you to please pray with me this morning. My brother and sister in law moved to China 4 years ago. They started their own exporting company @cravetrading and teach part time. They visited home and returned to China jusy before Christmas last year. They are currently stuck in their city and can't really do anything," she wrote.

"Please pray with me for their health and safety and the health of everyone affected," she added.
