SA's 'Bachelor' Lee Thompson's profile pops up on Tinder!

Cape Town - A Tinder profile linked to SA's first 'Bachelor' Lee Thompson has appeared on the popular dating app.

According to Huisgenoot, the profile comprises of several photos of the former Sharks rugby player, one being taken while on a safari.

The basic information shows that the suitor is 30 years old and that he studied at The University of South Africa.

Speaking to M-Net, Huisgenoot verified that the profile was fake and that it did not belong to Lee- who appeared on the first season of The Bachelor SA

In the final episode of the season, Lee gave his last rose and specially designed ring to makeup artist Gina Myers.

Unfortunately, their search for love did not have a happy ending, when during the reunion episode it was revealed that the couple did not pursue a romantic relationship after the show aired.

Although Gina did not find her Prince Charming, she did, however, form a close friendship with Jozaan Digue - who made it to the final two alongside the celebrity makeup artist.

Neither Lee nor Gina have gone public with a romantic relationship since the cameras stopped rolling.

The Bachelor SA season two, with model Marc Muckner as "The Bachelor," started filming in October and will air in February 2020.

Channel24 reached out to Lee for additional comment, and will update the article should more information become available.
