Simphiwe Ngema remembers Dumi Masilela on what would have been his 30th birthday

Johannesburg – In a heartrending post shared on social media actress Simphiwe Ngema paid tribute to her late husband Dumi Masilela on what would have been his birthday. 

Posting a video of herself and Dumi singing along to his track Shona Phansi, Simz recalled everything, the good and the bad, that the month of May had brought along with it over the past few years.  

“We started dating on the 13th of May 2014, Daddy passed away on the 16th of May 2016, we got married on the 20th and 21st of May 2017 and today 31st of May is your birthday. It’s been one hell of a month but we soldiered on. Happy birthday Boongs. I know for sure that today Nishona phansi in heaven. I love you, (sic)” she wrote.  

The Rhythm City actor died 2017 after a being shot during a botched hijacking.
