Siv Ngesi teams up with SA Rugby for Women's Month

Cape Town - The world of the oval ball may be traditionally dominated by men, but SA Rugby will celebrate Women's Month this year by partnering with Caring4Girls to donate sanitary products to disadvantaged women, and females will be allowed free entry at selected Currie Cup matches.

In conjunction with the Currie Cup unions, sponsors Nashua and DirectAxis, would like to encourage rugby fans to support the Caring4Girls initiative by donating sanitary products at the six Premier Division matches on Women's Day, Wednesday 9 August, and on Saturday, 12 August, in the collection boxes at the host stadium entrances.

All women will be granted free access to Tafel Lager Park in Kimberley and Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Women's Day (Wednesday, 9 August) for the matches between Tafel Lager Griquas and DHL Western Province, and Steval Pumas and Toyota Free State Cheetahs respectively. Children will also be able to enter for free at the Mbombela Stadium.

The Toyota Free State Cheetahs will afford female fans the same luxury on Saturday, 12 August, for their clash against Tafel Lager Griquas in Bloemfontein. These tickets, however, have to be collected in advance.
