Sketchy Bongo and Kyle Deutsch talk to us about opening for Justin Bieber

Johannesburg – In case you have not heard, local act Sketchy Bongo will be opening for international superstar Justin Bieber on the SA leg of his Purpose World Tour.

The Juice decided to give Sketchy a call ahead of the concert to find out what fans can expect from the show. Although the star says he is stoked to be opening for Justin, one thing that excites him even more is the thought of playing to the massive crowd.

“I think Justin is cool, but for me it’s more that we’re playing to 60 000 people in a stadium.” Sketchy says this will be the largest show he has played with his Wolf Pack team so far. “For me that’s going to be mind-blowing,” he adds.

Talking about what fans should expect, he says the energy is going to be amazing.

“There’s gonna be a lot of energy, a lot of good music that you guys already know, a lot of new music, a lot of collaborations.”

Kyle Deutsch, who is part of the Wolf Pack team, says sharing a stage with Justin will be an honour.

“The fans should 'just-be' ready to have their best concert experience yet. The warm up will be JAM packed so don't get to the stadium late. You don't want to miss out,” he tell us.

Justin is set to perform in Johannesburg on 14 May at the FNB Stadium, and again in Cape Town on 17 May at the Cape Town Stadium.
