Cape Town - Local entertainer Skolopad (real name Nonhlanhla Qwabe) has been nominated for not one, but two Feather Awards.
The fabulous nominees were announced at an event held at Constitution Hill on Thursday. The talked-about singer attended the nomination brunch with her daughter.
Skolopad was nominated in the category Socialite of the Year and Drama Queen of the Year, along with Zodwa Wabantu.
About her first-ever nomination Skolopad says: "I am very excited and astonished because this is my first time, and I am really grateful."

And of course we had to ask about that dress. "I went for a 'summer angel' look," says Skolopad and adds: "I had some cloth at home that I haven't used in a while, so I thought I'd wrap it around my body."
