Somizi and Mohale's second wedding - From the venue and date to the rings, here's what we know so far!

Cape Town - Two months after tying the knot during a traditional ceremony, Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung are planning their second wedding.

The lavish first reception was held in September at Kibler Park and attended by a host of celebrities including Cassper Nyovest, Pearl Thusi, Kelly Khumalo, Khanyi Mbau, and Bonang Matheba.

Sparing no expense, entertainers on the bill included Vusi Nova, Prince KB, Lerato Kganyago, Naked DJ, and DJ Dineo Ranaka.

Now, Somizi has revealed on Instagram that preparations for their white wedding are currently underway and the newlyweds couldn't be more excited.

"Diamonds are gays best friend. Choosing stones for the white wedding was so much fun, (sic) " Somizi wrote sharing a video of the experience on the photo-sharing app.

Celebrity jeweller Nungu Diamonds did the presentation for the couple. The bespoke jewellers also designed rapper Solo and his bride Dineo Moeketsi's wedding bands earlier this year.

Speaking to Channel24 founder of Nungu Diamonds, Kealeboga Pule said: "It was an incredible experience meeting these two amazing individuals. You can feel that the love they have for each other is authentic; authenticity is one of our core values at Nungu Diamonds which made it a perfect fit."

In an August Instagram post, Somizi revealed that his western wedding will take place in January 2020.

So while we will be counting down the days to January pay-day, celebrity guests will be smiling ear-to-year at the couple's summer wedding.

Earlier this year Sunday Sun reported that the highly-anticipated wedding would take place at four places, with the main ceremony staged at the Nelson Mandela Bridge in Braamfontein.

Channel24 spoke events coordinator to the stars Maureen "Nono" Skosana, who planned the couple's first ceremony. According to the wedding planner, she will not be handling the western service, saying: "I believe the  chosen venue is doing everything."
