Somizi: Blah blah the industry

Cape Town - Somizi took to social media to weigh in on #OpenUpTheIndustry. Here’s what he had to say. 

A hot topic at the moment is #OpenUpTheIndustry. Many young people feel like recent graduates and young people are not getting enough opportunities, and that we see the same faces on TV over and over again.

Not one to shy away from drama, Somizi decided to voice his opinion on the matter.

"We, people in the industry, this could be our only job."

"I don't wake up and go to Woolies and become an assistant manager and then after five I go present, or host or choreograph. No, if there's no gigs, I'm screwed."

"So what you mean I must give other kids a chance? Relax, sit at home?
